MONTEREY PARK, Calif. – Doris McCrea Burnham died Friday, May 28, in the loving arms of her daughters and husband at home.

Born at Camp Grant, Ill., Sept. 15, 1920, to George McCrea and Elizabeth McGraw, she completed her nurses training in Lewiston in 1946 and moved to Monterey Park the next year.

She was wife, mother, nurse and teacher. She was on the faculty of Los Angeles Trade Technical College, department of nursing, from 1976-1989.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years and caretaker, Walter Hynan Burnham Sr.; her children, Eric, Mary, Clare, Walter and Paul; and 10 grandchildren, all of whom will miss her greatly.
