POLAND – The Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Chamber Choir, under the direction of Sarah Johnson, will perform Monday, June 7, at All Souls Chapel.

The concert will kick off the Poland Spring Preservation Society’s summer concert series.

The choir was formed this past fall. Students are selected through a competitive audition process and rehearse weekly throughout the school year. They perform at various community venues, including nursing homes, hospitals and local organizations. Future plans include competition and tours in major cities. The choir performs mainly a cappella music, ranging from Renaissance to spirituals, to 20th century Broadway and pop.

All series concerts are open to the public. Weekly raffles will be held to support the restoration of the chapel’s Skinner organ. Showtime is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. ; member seating is at 6:25. Admission is $5 with all proceeds going to support the work of the Poland Spring Preservation Society.
