AUBURN – Bob and Denise Byrd of Peru are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Tia Byrd of Auburn, to Jared Buckingham of Auburn, son of Kathy and Michael Buckingham of Sabattus and Janet and Bruce Moore of Topsham.
Miss Byrd is a 1998 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2002 graduate of Colby College. She is employed at Margaret Murphy Center for Children in Auburn and Greely High School as cheerleading coach.
Mr. Buckingham is a 1999 graduate of Mt. Ararat High School and is currently attending Bridge Education in Westbrook. He is employed at Lost Valley and Rainbow Bicycle and Fitness in Auburn.
The wedding is planned for July 3 at Lost Valley.
