MERIDIAN, Idaho – Sandra Lee Gessner, 40, passed on peacefully Friday, June 4, to be with her Lord and Savior after a life time battle with her illness.

She was born in North Kingston, R.I. on Aug. 31, 1963 to Frances “Irene Dumond” Beaulieu of Nampa, Idaho and George Donald Gessner of Tampa, Fla.

She attended Lewiston schools and graduated from Oak Hill High School with the class of 1981. She later attended West Palm Beach Junior College. She showed interest in law and also took up scuba diving. She enjoyed the great outdoors and everything it had to offer.

She was a member of the South Lewiston Baptist Church. She enjoyed teaching children bible stories, and was always ready to talk about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to anyone who would listen. One of her favorite bible verses was: “I can do all things through Christ that strengtheneth me” Phil. 4:13. A short while before passing on she said “I have been very blessed, I have had a good life.”

Besides her Mother and Father she leaves behind her sister, Tina (Vattes) Moore and husband, Dennis of Meridian, Idaho; two brothers, Ryan Vattes and fiance, Mindi Barton of Nampa, Idaho and David of Lewiston; two nephews, Tyler Newton and Logan Moore of Meridian, Idaho; stepfather Charles Vattes of Scarborough and many aunts and uncles.
