LEWISTON – Lucille Evelyn Mullen, 81, a long time resident of Crest Avenue, Lisbon died early Monday, June 7, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born in Lisbon Falls Aug. 8, 1922, the daughter of Alden L. and Mildred E. (Tyler) Littlefield. She was educated in the grammar schools of Lisbon Falls and was a 1940 graduate of Lisbon Falls High School.

On Nov. 4, 1957, she married Douglas Mullen in Lisbon Falls. He died Jan. 18, 1968. Mrs. Mullen was employed in the drawing in department at Worumbo Mill in Lisbon Falls and for 25 years was an area sales lady for Tupperware.

She enjoyed traveling, spending time with old friends as well as meeting new people and attending parties. Her family members and the time spent with them was what was most important to her, especially the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. David (Brenda E.) Moss of Sabattus; one sister, Mrs. Arlene Dehetre of Auburn; one brother, Lawrence Littlefield of Island Pond, Vt.; one granddaughter, Ms. Cheryl Martin of Mechanic Falls; two great-grandchildren, Anthony Ridout and Micaela Roy of Mechanic Falls; a niece, Peggy Bates of Maryland.; and two nephews, Randall Dehetre of Auburn and Alden Littlefield of Island Pond, Vt. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother-in-law, Phillip Dehetre.
