LEWISTON – U.S. Sen. Susan Collins is inviting Mainers to express their condolences to the family of former President Ronald Reagan by signing sympathy albums available at each of her six offices in Maine. The albums will be forwarded to the family following the month-long period of national mourning.

“Political leaders and people around the world have found ways to express their grief for the loss of President Reagan and to show their immense respect for this great man,” Collins said. “I join America in grieving the loss of a great leader, a great president and a great American, and in offering my thoughts and prayers to the former first lady and other loved ones.”

The books will be available for written comments during office hours, Monday through Friday, at her offices, including two in this area, 11 Lisbon St., Lewiston, (784-6969) and 168 Capitol St., Augusta (622-8414).
