AUBURN – Dylan Bennet smacked the game winning hit to lift US Glass to a 3-2 win over Auburn Fire Fighters in little league action. Brian Bickford posted two hits, while Evan Roy recorded the win on the mound with eight strikeouts.

•D&R Framing defeated Pacios-Rausch 6-3 on Saturday, June 5. D&R was led offensively by Allaire Lever who was 3-for-3 and Paige Weber who was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Kory Norcross pitched well striking out two batters in one inning of work. In the loss, Pacios received excellent pitching from Alexis LeClerc who s trukc out five batters in two innings pitched, while Hannah Carrier was 3-for-3 and Katie Philbrick was 2-for-3 offensively.

•Alex Chicoine pitched five strong innings for Hannaford Brothers for the win over Poussard Construction 4-3 on June 5th. For Hannaford, Ray Gagne had two hits and three RBI including a two-run homer. For Poussard, Shawn Handler pitched well, while Colt Steele and Brendan Moore had multiple hits.

LEWISTON – Joe McKinnon and Jordan Charest shared duties on the mound to lead Robert Caron Construction to an 8-0 victory over Corner Variety in little league minors action played May 29th. Eric Savoy, Adam Spaulding, McKinnon and Charest led the offense with a couple of hits each. David Cusson posted one hit for the win as well. Bryan Hall and Kyle Lemelin had multiple hits for the Corner Variety effort.

•Nick Belanger, Brandon Perron, Ethan Melvin each had two hits a piece to lead Roux Insurance over Lighting Concepts, 8-3, in the minors division of Elliot Ave little league action on June 3.

Belanger recorded the win on the mound for Roux Ins.

•Alex Small smacked a triple as Wendy’s nudged past Robert Caron Construction 3-0 on May 31st in minors play of little league action. Spencer Simoneau hit a double, while Cody Chapman, Rudy Pandora, and Darien Pilotte each singled for the Wendy’s win. Parker Asselin and Chapman split pitching duties. Derek Larabee and Tyler Houle singled for the Robert Caron Construction losing cause.

•Parker Asselin posted a triple as Wendy’s rolled past Lighting Concepts to a 7-2 win in little leage action May 29th. Darian Pilotte, Greg Anderson, Nick Perrault, and Zack Beckner all hit singles for the win. The Lighting Concept effort was paced by Bruce Sopher.

•Conner Perron smacked in the winning run in the bottom of the fifth inning with two outs to lift Roux Insurance to a 12-11 victory over Emerson May 29th in minors little league action. Nick Belanger and Brandon Perron each had two hits for the win as well.

• Joe McKinnon led the offense with a double and a single as Robert Caron Construction defeated Roux Insurance 5-0 in little league play May 27. Ron Sequin, Jordan Charest, David Cusson, and Matt Adams all had hits for the win. Eric Savoy smacked a triple for Robert Caron Construction also. Roux Insurance was paced by Conner Perron, Brandon Perron, and Nick Belanger with multiple hits each.

•Rowe Lewiston knocked off Cross Insurance 5-4 in recent action. Cam Hart pitcher four solid innings and added a hit. Brent Lacombe and Ian Bannister led Rowe with two hits a piece, Lacombe with a double. David Ouellette and Tony Nunez led Cross with two hits a piece.

•Rowe Lewiston came back from an 11-6 deficit to defeat Dube Flower 15-11. Jake Elie, Joe Sullivan, Zach Parker, Alex Brochu, Brent Lacombe, and Ian Bannister all had two hits a piece for Rowe. Parker, Brochu, and Lacombe each adding a double. Jamie Poulin led Dube with three hits. Frankie Welch added two hits for Dube, one being a double.
