LEWISTON – Sandra M. Springer, 59, of North Waterford died Tuesday, June 8, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Norway on March 18, 1945, the daughter of Chester and Barbara Trimback Millett. She was a graduate of Oxford Hills High School. She had been employed at Wilner Wood Products for 20 years, more recently she was a store clerk at Kasi’s in North Waterford.

She loved NASCAR racing, stock car racing at Oxford Plains Speedway and her grandchildren. She married Robert “Bud” Springer Jr. on Oct. 15, 1965.

She is survived by her husband of North Waterford; a son, Robert III and his wife Patricia of Woodstock; two granddaughters, Trista and Kristi Springer both of Norway; two brothers, Fred Millett and his wife Millie and Jeffrey Millett all of North Waterford; three stepgranddaughters, Bethany O’Neil of Woodstock, Shallon O’Neil of South Paris, Heather Hall of Leeds, a stepgrandson, Joshua Hall of Norway; three great-granddaughters, Keegan, Alexis and Brooke all of South Paris; an aunt, Henrietta Lovejoy of North Waterford; three nieces, Tracy Millett of Oxford and Jennifer Morin and her husband Yvon and their children Zack and Jade all of North Waterford and Jessica Richards and her husband Cam and their son, Cam Jr. all of Oxford; numerous friends and relatives; and her dog, “Casey.”
