DIXFIELD – The Wingnuts Improv Comedy Troupe will perform Saturday, June 12, at the Dixfield Coffee House. The comedians will give two, family friendly sets beginning at 7 p.m.

The setting is casual with large tables just right for conversation with coffee, sodas and desserts for sale.

The doors to the coffeehouse are located just to the left, in the annex of the Dixfield Congregational Church. Once a month, from September to June, the church has hosted a night of family entertainment, providing employment for musicians, singers and comedians as well as Saturday night entertainment options for the area.

The Wingnuts are made up of local comedians from Rumford, Dixfield and Peru who perform their high-energy improv regularly throughout Maine. The audience gets into the act whenever the Wingnuts perform by providing scene suggestions, writing lines and playing along. Players Rosie Bradley, Penny Carver, Max Demilner, Lisa Picard and Duane Glover round out the troupe directed by Nancy 0. Demilner.

Tickets are $5 at the door for adults, with accompanying children under 12, free.
