LEWISTON – Lucretia Y. Gauthier, 84, of 100 Campus Ave., Lewiston, died Wednesday morning, June 9, at her residence, following a long illness.
Born at St. Narcise, P.Q., Sept. 2, 1919, the daughter of Joseph and Yvonne (Blais) Dallaire, she had been a resident of this community all of her life.
She had been employed for many years as a sewer in the local textile industry. She married Robert H. Gauthier, and he died on Nov. 11, 1990. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church.
She was a great lady who brought boundless joy and laughter to all who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy Gauthier and his wife, Bonnie of Minot; two daughters, Jackie Giambra and her husband, James and Linda Baril, all of Lewiston; one brother, Armand Dallaire and his wife, Lorenza of Lewiston; four sisters, Carmen Cailler and her husband, Robert, Lorraine Gervais, Terry Morin and Yvonne Carville and her husband, Wallace, all of Lewiston; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister; and two brothers.
