LEWISTON – Kenneth J. Marshall, 67, passed away Thursday morning, June 10, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Auburn, Nov. 4, 1936, to Alfred and Audrey Mahoney Marshall, he spent most of his life there, graduating from Edward Little High School in 1956.

He served three years in the Army and upon his discharge, was employed with the City of Auburn Highway Department under the guidance of Roland Saucier. He loved operating heavy equipment and knew how to run each new piece that the city purchased for the Highway Department.

After 38 years, he retired to his home in Hartford, where he spent many high school vacations on his Uncle Carl’s farm. He loved the country and especially all aspects of farming, having had his own small farm while in Auburn.

Survivors include his wife, Olive; a son, Robert; a daughter, Tammy; cousin, Sandy and her husband, Dave Broberg; and many nieces, nephews and friends he made over the years. He will be dearly missed along with his tales he loved to tell.

He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters, Betty, Mary and Lorraine; his cousin, Arthur; his uncle, Carl; and his aunt, Ina.
