WATERVILLE – Raymond Oliver Nadeau, 57, of Morgan Street, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 9, shortly upon arrival at Inland Hospital.

Born in Lewiston, July 29, 1946, the son of Antonio and Irene (Fournier) Nadeau, he was a graduate of St. Dominic High School in Lewiston.

Mr. Nadeau was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He had worked in the warehouse at Kimberly -Clark Paper Co. for several years.

He coached youth hockey and enjoyed all sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. He loved his grandchildren and was a loving father, husband and brother.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline (Roy) Nadeau of Waterville; two sons, John Nadeau of Clinton and Andrew Nadeau of Waterville; a daughter, Cathy Matthews and husband, Chuck of Oakland; two sisters, Georgette Doustou and husband, Louis of Lewiston and Pauline Loubier and husband, Claude of Augusta; four grandchildren, Nicholas Conner, Nathan and Colby Nadeau and Samantha Matthews; and many nieces and nephews.
