All voters had an opportunity to vote on property tax relief. If they did not go vote, it is their loss if it did not go their way. If they did not exercise their privilege to vote, too bad. There was enough of a sampling of the wishes of the citizens to back up what they want as credible to enact it into law.

I am incensed that the Legislature and governor are trying to change the direct mandate of the people on this subject. Voting is a fundamental right of the people, and the people’s wishes should be honored. Government seems to think they are the only one’s who know what is good for the people.

I am looking for a movement to counter this idea of changing the direction of the mandate of Question 1. For the first time in my life, I will join it. I am so angry. I am even willing to work toward a recall of all politicians who oppose our wishes an this matter.
