NORWAY – The 32nd annual Norway Sidewalk Art Show on July 10 will feature Purchase Awards.
Purchase Awards are a way to match community members with local artists and their work.
On the morning of the art show, artists place red stickers on three pieces of work they wish to have the donors consider.
Meanwhile, Purchase Award donors meet with art show organizer Nikki Millonzi at the Norway Town Office and receive a clipboard with three lines on it.
The Purchase Award donors then walk through the entire show and write down their top three selections, and then return to the Town Office.
Unless there is duplication, the donors receive their first choice and are given a ribbon and check to present to the artists in exchange for their artwork.
The Norway Sidewalk Art Show is looking for businesses and individuals to become Purchase Award donors for the show. Purchase Award donors have their names printed on all of advertisements and handouts.
For more information or to sign up to be a donor, phone Brittany Stevens at Norway Downtown Revitalization at 739-2215.
