NORWAY – Edith K. Pratt, 87, of Norway died Monday, June 14, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.

She was born in Fort Fairfield on Sept. 12, 1916, the daughter of Fred and Charlotte Longley Higgins. She worked as a packer in the local shoe factories. She enjoyed cooking. She married Forrest Pratt on Oct. 17, 1940; he passed away in 1999.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Foster and her husband Bruce of South Paris; two grandchildren, Daphne Foster of Norway and Cindy Hakala and her husband Tim of Harrison; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon Paul and Krista Hakala.
