RANGELEY – Virgil E. Bubier, 81, of Rangeley, died early Monday morning, June 14, at his home.
He was born in Dallas Plantation, July 20, 1922, a son of Orie and Margery Bachelder Bubier. He received his education in local schools. Mr. Bubier worked bridge construction for many years and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Scribner of Massachusetts; a sister, Lorraine Bubier of Rangeley; nieces, Prudence Bubier of Pittston, Penny Farrington of Jay, Gale McDonald of Wilton, Priscilla Fortier of Jay, Sheila Couture of Jay, and Melodie Bubier of Lewiston; a nephew, Mike Bubier of Jay.
He was predeceased by a son, Kerry in 1970; and a brother, Wendall in 1983.
