An item appearing on page B8 on June 10 about Auburn Manufacturing Inc. misidentified the new industry standard for heat resistant fabrics. The new standard is called FM Approval Standard 4950. The information was incorrectly submitted to the Sun Journal.

LEWISTON – A headline at the top of Tuesday’s front page should have stated that the Maineiacs’ home opener, not the season opener, has been delayed by visa problems.

Out of position

Mt. Ararat pitcher Mark Rogers moved from pitcher to shortstop in Monday’s Class A championship baseball game. A photo caption on C1 on the June 15 sports section incorrectly identified his new position.
