In response to Kalle Oakes’ column June 15, I would like to say that the Edward Little High School graduation was the best organized and entertaining commencement exercise I’ve ever been to. The audience was kept focused, and the graduation was memorable.

The speeches were creative and bold, with an inspiring and positive message. The content of the speeches was within reasonable boundaries. Those students are hardworking, intelligent and not afraid to be different. Those very imaginative young adults are the types of people who, in the future, will make a difference in our world, as the past has shown. They dare go where none have gone before.

As my daughter so eloquently stated in her speech, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”
