Isn’t it sad that the city of Auburn has to cut the school budget by, according to the Sun Journal, $1.4 million while the city gets a new building and, of course, new furniture as well.

What is the matter with the City Council? Don’t they realize that these children are the leaders of the future?

True, we don’t need to have our taxes go up, but they have to be realistic.

Now, which of our city fathers will get a raise? Isn’t that the way it works?
