LIVERMORE – Mrs. Doris Ann Jordan, 72, died Saturday, June 19, at her Livermore residence after a battle with cancer with her loving family and close friends at her side.

Born in Rumford, on Oct. 19, 1931, she was a daughter of Edward and Marion (Fisher) Dupill. She was a graduate of Stephen’s High School in Rumford with the class of 1951.

She was a member of Napoleon Ouellette Post No. 24 American Legion where she served two terms as president of the Auxiliary. She was past president of the Visually Impaired People Sharing. She was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford.

She was married in Rumford, in 1953 to Kenneth L. Jordan who survives of Livermore. Survivors include two sons, Lee Jordan of Mich. and Jeffrey Jordan and fianc, Bente Parent of Hope; three daughters, Darlene Fontaine and husband, Paul of Calif., Renee Jordan and close family friend, Barbara Richardson of Lewiston, Mary Bachelder and husband, Kevin of Rumford; sister, Gloriette Boudreau of Conn.; brothers, John Dupill and Robert Dupill of Holiday, Fla. and two grandchildren, Emma Jean Jordan and Anna Rose Jordan of Hope.
