LEWISTON – Dwight L. Carey, 58, died Saturday, June 19, in the arms of his loving wife, after a long battle with cancer.

He was born on April 3, 1946 in Eagle Lake, the son of Philip and Regina (Saucier) Carey. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served his country in Vietnam. On May 26, 1995 he married the former Louise Carrier. Dwight had a great love for the outdoors including fishing and gardening. He was an excellent cook, which his family enjoyed very much.

Besides his wife and parents he is survived by two daughters, Michelle and Angela both of Fla.; brother, David Carey; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Paula) Boutin and Sherry Carey; two step-sons Kevin and wife, Theresa Goguen and Terry and wife, Donna Goguen; grandson, Jacob; three step-grandchildren, Joseph, Sharayah and Nicole and several nieces and nephews.
