WINTHROP – Wilfred K. Frost, 86, a long time resident of East Monmouth, died Sunday, June 20, at the Heritage Rehabilitation & Living Center in Winthrop, where he had been a resident.
He was born in Monmouth, on Dec. 5, 1917, the son of H. Seymour and Edna L (Cobb) Frost. He attended the schools in Monmouth. Wilfred worked as a farmer and in highway construction, being employed by the town of Monmouth. He worked with the town highway crew for 50 years. He enjoyed farming, always treating his cattle as pets, he looked forward to listening to the Red Sox baseball games and visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by two sisters, Ethel Foster and husband, Orland of East Monmouth and G. Carolyn Smith of East Monmouth and Fla.; brother, Donald Frost and wife, Shirley of Wales and several nieces and nephews, including Donna Frost who helped care for him.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Wesley and Malcolm Frost and two sisters, Kathryn Cline and Eleanor Heywood.
FROST – Wilfred K., 86, or East Monmouth died in Winthrop on Sunday, June 20, 2004. Graveside services will be held for family and friends at 1 p.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Litchfield.
