RUMFORD – Community Concepts Adult Day Services will hold a bake and craft sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, on the side patio of the Muskie Room at 20 Congress St.

Monies will go toward a planned trip to the ocean. Items for sale will include homemade pies, breads, yeast rolls, cookies and baked beans. A lunch special of a steamed hot dog, soda and a bag of chips for $3 will be provided.

Other items for sale will be crafts made by members and lawn sale items. ADS will sell chances on a “Surviving the Summer” basket. Chances are $1 each or five for $3.

Cancer walk

RUMFORD – Everyone is invited to help raise money by participating in a Maine Children’s Cancer Walk on Saturday, Sept. 18, in Rumford.

All monies raised from the walk stays in Portland. Area youngsters go there for treatment.
