RUMFORD – Funeral services for Miss Merchant were held Monday morning at the Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford, with the Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham officiating. Musical selections were “What A friend We Have In Jesus,” “In the Garden,” sung by Rev. Cunningham and her husband, John, “Amazing Grace,” sung by Rev. Cunningham and “Shall We Gather at the River.” Bearers were Matthew Gautreau, Kim Gautreau, Patrick Webber, James Brazin, Scott Merchant and Nicholas Anastasio. Committal services were conducted by Rev. Cunningham and interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Andover.
