RUMFORD – Patricia Joanne Oliver, 59, of Rumford died on June 19, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born on Nov. 14, 1944, in Mexico, the daughter of Irving Joseph Watson and Margaret B. Roy.

She graduated from Mexico High School in 1961, and moved away from the area for over 35 years, returning in 1998. She worked in a professional insurance environment as a customer service representative most of her life. On May 9, 1997, she married Norman Oliver of Orono.

She loved roller skating, dancing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with friends and her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Christine Lessa of Mass.; son, David Lessa and his wife Sarah, of Arlington, Va.; stepsons, Joe and his wife, Billi Jo Oliver, Dan Oliver; stepdaughter, Lisa Oliver of Wy.; brothers, John Watson, Joseph R. “Spider” Watson and wife, Jackie, of Winterport, Frank Watson of Mexico; sister, Margaret and husband Dan Tobin of South Portland; grandchildren, James, Madison, Kristi, Morgan, Blake, Dempsey, Kassie, Kayenne.
