LEWISTON – Robert and Rachel Bott of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Francine Ellen Bott, to Patrick Elliot Colwell II, son of Rep. Patrick and Rebecca Colwell of Gardiner.

Miss Bott is a 1992 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 1996 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also received a master’s degree in human services management in 2001 from the University of Massachusetts and is employed at Elmhurst Inc. in Bath as children’s services manager.

Mr. Colwell is a 1995 graduate of Gardiner Area High School and a 1999 graduate of Middlebury College with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. He is deputy director of constituent services at Gov. Baldacci’s office.

A November wedding is planned in Gardiner.
