MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – John-Ford Griffin hit a solo home run in the eighth inning to give the New Hampshire Fisher Cats a 5-4 comeback win over the Portland Sea Dogs Saturday.

New Hampshire (40-33) tied the score at 4-4 on Tyrell Godwin’s two-run homer, part of a three-run seventh inning. Jeff Bailey put Portland (35-40) on top 1-0 in the second inning with a bases-empty homer.

Jordan DeJong (3-1) earned the win and Dan Jackson picked up his third save. Bo Donaldson (1-3) was the loser.

The Sea Dogs added three runs in the third inning on Brett Roneberg’s two-run single and an RBI double by Bailey.

New Hampshire scored its first run in the sixth inning on Griffin’s two-out RBI single.
