LEWISTON – Miriam P. Moyer, 63, of 25 South River Road, Turner, died Saturday, June 26, at Central Maine Medical Center. Born in Concord, Mass. Aug. 11, 1940 a daughter of Warner and Reba Vail Eldridge she graduated from Concord High School in the Class of 1958. She received her bachelors degree in education from the University of Maine at Orono in 1962.
He was married to Harrison L. Moyer Jr.. He died June 3, 1996. She taught third graders at Turner Primary School retiring in 2003. She served as president of the Turner Library and was also a member of the Maine Audubon Society. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed reading, bird watching and gardening.
She is survived by daughter, Leslie Preble and husband, Alan of Homestead, Fla.;
sons, Stanley Moyer and wife, Pamela of Mendham, N.J. and David Moyer and wife, Dianne of Turner and grandchildren, Alexander Preble, Patrick Stephanie and David Doyon, and Kate, Paul and Emily Moyer.
