BOSTON (AP) – The Boston Bruins continued selecting players in the fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth rounds of the NHL Draft Sunday.
The Bruins selected Ashton Rome of Moose Jaw in the Western Hockey League, Kris Versteeg of Lethbridge in the WHL, Ben Walter of University of Massachusetts-Lowell, Matt Hunwick of the University of Michigan and Anton Hedman of Stocksund in the Swedish second division, the team’s Web site announced.
On Saturday, the Bruins had selected center David Krejci of the Czech Republic and right wing Martins Karsums, a Latvian playing in the Quebec Major Junior league. The players were rated in the Top 20 by the team’s scouting department.
