TURNER – Walter E. Reynolds has opened W.E. Reynolds at 876 Upper St. to provide oil and gas heating installations.
Reynolds provides installation, sales and service of either oil, solid fuel or propane/natural gas equipment. Equipment types include; gas piping for appliance connection, installation of gas appliances such as fireplaces, fireplace inserts, room heaters, water heaters, oil or gas boilers and furnaces and complete heating systems.
Reynolds holds a Maine master oil and solid fuel license and a Maine propane/natural gas technician license. He graduated from the New England Fuel Institute in 1977. He worked as a service technician for a local oil company from 1977 to 1983. In 1983 he joined American Stabilis, a local HVAC controls manufacturing company, as a product technical service representative and became inside sales manager. Then shifting fields but still working on the technical aspect of the business, he went to work for an insurance manage company doing onsite facility inspections. He returned to the heating business in 1996 as a service technician for Murray Oil Co. in Turner until starting his own business in June. He has attended a wide variety of industry-sponsored training programs.
