RUMFORD – The Rumford Public Library will present a return visit from the New York Shakespearean actor Duncan Inches, who will perform at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 6. Inches, who is also a scholar and artistic director of the William Shakespeare Road Company of New York, puts on one-person plays that bring William Shakespeare to life. The presentation is interactive with the audience. Inches has been portraying William Shakespeare for more than 25 years, appearing at Renaissance fairs across the country. He is in Maine for the Maine Renaissance Faire, which begins July 17.

ATV safety course

DIXFIELD – An ATV safety course will be held for children 10 years old and older from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 11, at Webb River Sportsman’s Club. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
