LEWISTON – The Lewiston Public Library will present Marcus Gale’s “SO GLAD!” concert at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 8. Children and their parents are invited to laugh, sing and dance along with Marcus and his puppet friends.

The concert is a rollicking and frolicking interactive performance that creates smiles and laughter for children and adults of all ages. Marcus sings, hums, plays guitar, jokes around with his puppet friends, conducts kid interviews and leads the whole family in the “SO GLAD!” dance.

His original songs on waking up, playtime, riding in the car, best friends and the family dog make a kid’s day special. His positive upbeat messages celebrate the simple things in life.

Gale, of North Berwick, has been performing a playful mix of songs, stories and puppetry full-time for more than 10 years. He picked up a guitar at age 12, took to the stage and has been singing ever since. His concerts are wholesome, participatory, community events for all ages. Marcus tours nationally singing for children and their families.

Admission is by sign-up at the library. Call the library at 784-0135, ext. 4, for details.
