LEWISTON – David and Lorraine Heikkinen of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Marcous, to Keith Desjardins, son of Russell and Rita Desjardins of Lewiston.

Miss Marcous is a 1997 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2003 graduate of Husson College, where she received her master’s degree in physical therapy. She is currently employed at the d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston, working as a physical therapist.

Mr. Desjardins is a 1997 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2000 graduate of Central Maine Technical College, where he received an associate degree in business management. He is currently employed at Rowe in Lewiston as a service advisor.

The wedding will be held on Aug. 21 at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston.
