RUMFORD – Rebecca J. Frost, 50, died Sunday, July 4, at the Rumford Hospital, Rumford. A resident of the area for many years, she made her home on Crescent Avenue in Rumford.

She was born in Farmington, on Aug. 17, 1953, a daughter of Claude and Dorothy (Cornish) Haines Jr., and graduated from Rumford High School Class of 1972.

She was a very active member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was married in Rumford, on Oct. 21, 1972, to Eugene I. Frost who survives of Rumford; other survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Frost of Sumner; a son, Eugene I. Frost Jr. of Rumford; her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Putnam of West Peru; three grandchildren, Dakota, Ashley, and John Wendall Jr. all of West Paris; two brothers, Merlin Knox of Old Town, and Richard Knox of Searsport; three sisters, Christine Fournier of Livermore, Cheryl Sally of Farmington, and Alitia Knox of Augusta; and several half-brothers and half-sisters.
