LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating an attempted break-in at the Livermore Falls Middle School.

They are also looking into someone having a party at a mobile home while the owner was away.

A witness reported seeing two juveniles attempting to make a forcible entry into the school with a pocketknife Thursday, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

By the time Lt. Thomas Gould arrived four minutes later, the juveniles were gone and could not be located, he said.

In a separate incident, a resident of 100 Hunton Loop reported a forced entry into his trailer on Sunday after a neighbor told him that somebody had a party there while he was gone, Steward said.

The trailer was vandalized, Steward said.
