NORTH CONWAY, N.H. – Lucien (Babe) Rouleau, 93, formerly of Bushey Circle, Lewiston died July 5, at Merriman House.

Born in Auburn Aug. 1, 1910, a son of Octave and Ernestine (Deschenes) Rouleau. On Nov. 24, 1938, he married the former Ms. Jeanette LaFlamme who died Nov. 1, 1981.

Mr. Rouleau was a truck driver for 35 years for Dugas Express and later worked for Tri – County Mental Association for another 30 years, retiring in 2000.

He was a member of Holy Family Parish and was past president of The Montagnard Club. He also was a volunteer and president for P.A.L. Mr. Rouleau loved spending time with his family and enjoyed watching harness racing.

He leaves two daughters, Joan A. Rawson of Intervale, N.H., and Sandra Hugill and her husband Donald of Kenmore, Wash.; three grandchildren, Cheryl Moody and husband Skip of Intervale, N.H., Dona Wilburn and husband Larry of Colbert, Wash., and Jennifer Hugill Of Issaquah, Wash.; seven great-grandchildren, Meghan, Patrick, and Connor Moody, and Tyler, Caitlynn, Tanner, and Colby Wilburn; several nieces and nephews; and a longtime friend, Maggie Annaloro of Auburn.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Lucienne Doyon, Claire Dantas, and Adrienne Belanger; and three brothers, Lionel Rouleau, Albert Anctil, and Ernest Anctil.
