LISBON – The Lisbon High School Boosters Club raised more than $10,000 for the athletes of Lisbon High School this year.

The club purchased items such as basketball shoes and gave donations to hockey and tennis, track jackets, cheering jackets, baseball jackets, practice jerseys, marker board, golden “L,” and the senior sports banquet.

The Boosters Club decided it was time for a new concession stand between the football field and the soccer field. Brunswick Regional Vocational Technical Program, under the leadership of Marcel Giroux, volunteered to do the masonry work.

The club had the assistance of Carl Huston, Wayne Lavers and parents. The building still needs many things. If interested in donating time or financial support, call Aline Strout at 353-6279 or Linda Morse at 353-9850.

Members are still looking for roofing materials, Sheetrock, plywood, countertop, paint, handicap toilet and sink, refrigerator, faucets, lighting, small water heater, doors for bathroom, venting for roof. If interested in supporting the Lisbon High School athletes, contact the club at the above numbers.
