SARASOTA, Fla. – Jessie A. Nickerson of Sarasota and a longtime summer resident of Clearwater Lake, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, July 6, at Manor Care in Florida.
She was the widow of Darrold E. Nickerson, a Farmington native who died in 1992. She was a devoted wife and companion to her husband and enjoyed her membership in the Gulf Gate Golf Club in Sarasota, where she was active in club affairs.
She is survived by her nephews, Richard Sinkinson and Rev. George E. Sinkinson Jr., and their wives, Barbara and Jacqueline, all of Industry; a great-niece, Leigh Nickerson Beatty of Seal Harbor; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. At her request, no services will be held.
