STUART, Fla. – Our good-hearted woman no longer walks among us. Sally Ann Cox Phaneuf, 73, died Monday, Jan. 5, in Florida.

Born in Livermore, she was the daughter of Walter Cox and Sylvia Edgecomb. After graduating in 1948, from Livermore High School, she earned a scholarship to study acting on Boston.

While there she met Chuck, her husband of 48 years, who still resides in Stuart, Fla.

Survivors include her children, Dana of Livermore, Natalie of Ontario, Canada, and Matthew and Peter of Florida; sisters, Norma Fides of Poland and Carol Saunders and Shirley Foster of Winthrop; brothers, Linwood Cox of Bethel, Clifford Cox of Winthrop and Kenneth Cox of Readfield; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sister, Arlene; and brother, Rick. We will all miss her.
