AUBURN – Helen R. Jackson Warner of Auburn died unexpectedly Friday, July 9.

She was born Aug. 8, 1947, in Slabfork, W. Va., a daughter of Samuel and Flossie Jackson, who are deceased. She was educated in Maine schools.

She was a devoted and dedicated mother. She also reared her grandson, Chroy, who was handicapped, and granddaughter, Cynthia.

She enjoyed gospel music and socializing, and loved cooking for and being with family members. Holidays were special to her.

She is survived by five children, Maria, Eugene, Lonzel, Angela and Samuel; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nine brothers, John and wife Rose of Portland, Floyd of Ohio, Daniel of Minot, Samuel and wife Annette of Turner, Andrew and wife Gail of Florida, Albert and wife Clemmie of Auburn, and Kenneth of California; one sister, Nellie of Ashtabula, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Phil Jackson of Ohio, and Elder Isaac Jackson of Auburn; one sister, Thelma Hull of Hackensack, N.J.; and one sister-in-law, Jean Jackson of Minot, who died in June.
