DIXFIELD – A meeting of the regular SAD 21 School Board has been postponed from Monday, July 12, to 6 p.m. Monday, July 19, at Dirigo Middle School.

Since merging with the town of Peru in a consolidating move this spring, the district has had two school boards operating simultaneously.

One is the Consolidated School Board, which consists of representatives from the merged district’s towns of Canton, Carthage, Dixfield and Peru.

The regular board, which will cease next summer when the consolidated board takes over, comprises directors from Canton, Carthage and Dixfield.

The consolidated board regularly meets on the fourth Monday of the month; the regular board on the first Monday of the month.
