All Auburn voters will have a voice to support and improve our educational system in a city-wide referendum this September. In 2000, after a very lengthy and competitive application process, Auburn was fortunate to receive approval from the Department of Education for this necessary school construction project. As a result, state bonds will finance over 42 percent of the cost of a new K-6 elementary school off Park Avenue.

Although there is never a great time for spending our local money on major capital improvements, we do have a window of opportunity for a wise investment in our children and our community. More details on this project are available on the Web.
