WILTON – Franklin Grange 350 recently met at the Grange hall for a potluck lunch followed by a meeting.
Election of officers was held with only two positions changed from last year’s officers. Glenda Gordon will assume the position of chaplain and Lincoln Flagg as Gatekeeper.
A birthday card was sent to Eva Jewell and a thinking of you card was sent to Earl and Tippy Tracy. Members voted on sending the master and his wife to State Grange in Bangor this fall.
Members are also working on entries for the CWA contests along with articles for displaying in the Grange Fancy and Agriculture booths at Farmington and Fryeburg fairs.
Mike Flagg was chosen to become master of Excelsior Pomona 5 in September. Another project currently being worked on is the history of the Grange building for paperwork needed for the historical and preservation society. If anyone has any useful information or pictures, they are asked to notify Karen Flagg, secretary, at 645-9861.
Several donations have been received from members for the upkeep of the hall.
