GREENE – Mac McHale and Emery Hutchins will entertain with music from Ireland, the mountains and the sea at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 22, and 2 and 7 p.m. Friday, July 23, at Sawyer Memorial, 371 Sawyer Road.
McHale and Hutchins recently joined forces to sing and play. The two were the original founders of Northeast Winds and traveled and recorded with the Winds for nearly 15 years.
For the past 15 years McHale has headed Mac McHale and the Old-Time Radio Gang, and Hutchins has been part of the Angel Band, a well known Irish music group.
They will perform some of their favorites from Northeast Winds as well as old-time traditional country music. They will play the banjo, guitar, mandolin, concertina, bodran and harmonica.
