GILEAD – A public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at the Town Hall to discuss three issues.

Selectmen want to know if the town wants them to act on a subdivision for Steve Caswell. They also want to know if residents want them to purchase land by the river that is now the boat landing.

The third question is whether selectmen should look into purchasing property, owned by Gerald Loring, next to the Town Hall.
