BOSTON – Kelly Davis, 15, has been selected to participate in the Junior Statesmen of America Summer School program. The Election Symposium will be held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology during the Democratic National Convention.

The symposium will take place during the week of July 25 at MIT and at the Democratic National Convention. More than 180 honors students will meet and question prominent political leaders, members of Congress, convention delegates and attend on-site and off-site convention events, which will include state delegate meetings, youth caucus activities, visits to press centers and campaign headquarters.

Davis is the daughter of Scott and Holly Davis of Buckfield. She is a sophomore at Edward Little High School where she is a member of the school’s band, chamber and show choirs, runs cross country in the fall and plays tennis in the spring.

Davis also dances tap, jazz and point ballet with Sandy Arthur’s School of Dance and is in her 10th year of studying piano.
