WATERVILLE – Genevieve “Jenny” A. Shaw of Ridge Road, Windsor, and Mount St. Joseph of Waterville, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 15, at Mount St. Joseph where she had resided since August, 2001.
She was born May 16, 1912, in Wilton, the daughter of Herbert F. and Cora B. Wilson Aldrich.
She was a homemaker for many years, living in Windsor for the last 55 years. She loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing with her husband on Togus Pond where they lived for many years. She loved tending to her flower gardens and spending time with her cat, Crackers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John L. “Red” Shaw of Windsor; one sister, Charlotte E. Hammond of New Gloucester; one nephew, Robert R. Parker of Portland; five nieces, Tisha Begin and Debbie Aldrich of Winslow, Joan Theriault and Diane Gove of Caribou, and Cynthia Leavitt of New Gloucester.
