FALMOUTH – Armand E. Michaud, 79, of 8 Pineland St., Lewiston, died Saturday evening, July 17, at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth, following a long illness.

Born in Lewiston, Sept. 21, 1925, the son of Oscar and Jeannette (Dozois) Michaud, he had been a resident of this community all of his life.

Mr. Michaud was a member of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II. He was a self-employed carpenter all of his life, which he much enjoyed. He also enjoyed vacationing in Florida, every winter with his wife, Jeanne. He was a member of Holy Cross Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Jeanne Doyon, whom he married on April 19, 1948 of Lewiston; one brother, Andre Michaud and his wife, Florence, of Auburn; one sister, Lilliette Poulin and her husband, Romeo, of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his two brothers, Lucien and Joseph Michaud.
