OTISFIELD – The town will be sponsoring a fishing derby for children from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at the town beach. Any Otisfield child up to age 13 is invited to participate. There will be prizes for the biggest, smallest and most fish caught. This event will also offer fly casting activities sponsored by Trout Unlimited. Participants will need to supply their own rod, reel, lure or bait. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. at the beach. Registration fee is $1. Parents will need to sign a release form at the time of registration.
