LEWISTON – FLY Football (a.k.a. Football League for Youth) will be conducting new player tryouts and “late” registration for cheerleaders/players Saturday, July 31, at the Montello School athletic field.

All youth between the ages of 6 through 13 are welcome to participate. Participants between the ages of 6 and 7 will participate in a flag-based, instructional program, 8 through 10 compete in the Junior Division, ages 11 through 13 compete in the Senior Division.

Those interested in registering will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and bring a valid birth certificate for proof of age. The cost for one child is $60, an additional child is $25 with a maximum of $100 per family.

The league will be playing its games at the Lewiston Athletic Park (behind the Lewiston Armory), beginning with opening day on Sunday, Aug 29 and concluding with the league All-Star games on Oct. 24.

Late registration will take place from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Junior division tryouts will take place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Senior division tryouts will immediately follow Junior tryouts.
